Memon Community; my community – a saying by Mr. Shafi Mulani
(Chiragwala), a renowned Social Worker in Ahmedabad, Gujrat India proved it by
holding hands of World Memon Organisation ( WMO) and Nathani Charitable Trust
(NCT) and also made the dream true of 60 poor roofless deserving Memon families
by providing Flats in Ahmedabad City.
This Housing Colony Project was the joint collaboration of World Memon Organisation ( WMO) and Nathani Charitable Trust (NCT). The multi-storied colony was named as “Taybah Residence” and a flats allotment programme was solemnized on 04th January 2015 where delegates from Abroad and many community workers, social workers, philanthropists were present as follows,
1. Mrs. & Mr. Abdul Sattar Dada, Executive committee member and trustee of WMO
2. Mrs. & Mr. Feizul Ayob, Trustee of WMO Central Body and Charity foundation & Member of weakness committee which is run under the WMO.
3. Mrs. Solly Kalla, Member of WMO, from South Africa.
4. Mrs. & Mr. Anver Karim, Member of WMO, from South Africa.
5. Mr. Shahid Sanghani, Chief Operating Officer (COO) of WMO.
6. Mr. A. Rashid Nathani, Trustee of Nathani Charitable Trust.
7. Mrs.Raziya Chasmawala, Member and Advisory committee member of WMO IC.
8. Mrs. & Mr. Razzak Chashmawala, Secretary of the Ibrahim Bawany Industrial Training Institute Vadodara, Member of WMO IC.
9. Mr. Zuber Goplani, Trustee of Hanifa school, Borsad Gujarat.
10. Mr. Farooq Chandiwala, Managing committee member of WMO IC.
11. Mr. Zuber Chasmawala, Managing committee member of WMO IC.
12. Mr. Shafi Mulani, Managing committee member of WMO IC.
13. Mr. A. Hamid Nathani, Managing Trustee of Nathani Charitable Trust; Managing committee member and coordinator of WMO IC
Mr. Shafi Mulani stated that it could not have been possible without the support of our beautiful organization like WMO & NCT. So please each and every Memon should adhere with such organization and feel the proud to be Memon.
He also narrated in his speech that all organizations should maintain parameter to bring stability and development in the community at large.
Foreign delegates the Chief Mr. Abdul Sattar Dada (Executive committee member and trustee of WMO) and Mr. Feizul Ayob (Trustee of WMO Central Body and Charity foundation) emphasized more on the Importance of Education and stated “Ilm hi Insan ko Insan Banata Hai”. And also motivated and wished all students from the community for their further education ahead. All guests, students appreciated lot to see them.
Let’s Dua’a that no Memon family should be roofless. And one should always strive to help the community by action and not by only words.
